60 Clock Hours, or 60 CE Hours is based on the Iowa Real Estate Commission's definition of an hour, which is 50 minutes. By purchasing this product, students agree that all school policies have been reviewed. Zoom Conference information & any necessary course materials will be given once payment is completed. Description: Worried about sitting through a live class? This course promises to not just teach but entertain! Just as any live learning experience, this live course offers the student opportunity to ask questions and clarify information. This course is taught by a local Iowa commission approved instructor who is a licensed broker.
Course Description: This course is the major element to obtaining your Iowa Real Estate Exam and is the only course of those required needed to take the PSI Real Estate Exam. You will learn national material defining real estate, development and regulation, how real estate is owned and transferred, plus how it is financed and valued. In addition, this course will cover state specific material including Iowa Code 543B, 558A & Administrative Rules 193E which defines how an agent protects the public. The 60 Hour Pre-License course covers all of the required coursework described by the Iowa Real Estate Commission and outline by PSI Exams.
Course Requirements: Live courses are offered at set times with a commission approved instructor. Full time attendance is required with a working microphone and camera per the Iowa Real Estate Commission. In addition, the Iowa Real Estate Academy requests students be in a professional setting with few distractions such as people, pets or driving.
Materials & Recommended Supplies: Materials for this course are in a digital format, which can be printed by the student if they choose from the Course Materials section. Students are encouraged to have pens, highlighters, standard calculator, index cards and snacks to keep energy high.
